Description:
This is a factory conversion of the large frame Adams revolver to .455 centerfire. The serial number is 4808. The rear of the cylinder is removed to load, much like a Remington New Model Police and Pocket conversions. The mechanical function is crisp and tight. The bore is very good and bright and it retains over 75% original blue finish. The wood grips are sharply checkered still. This is the first conversion I have encountered like this. It has English definitive black powder proofs on it.
