CHE grade with Bernard damascus steel barrels.Built in 1904,this gun is one of only 13 Bernard barreled CHE 16ga. guns made,and the only known one built on the lightweight O frame.The barrels are 28" long and are choked improved cylinder (.010") and improved modified (.025").The bores are mint and free of any rust,dents,or pits.The barrels have excellent wall thickness with the thinest spot over .030" at the muzzle.The chambers are the original 2 9/16" length.I have shot several rounds of sporting with this gun and it handles like a dream.The stock is highly figured walnut and is free of any cracks or damage.The gun retains 995 of the original damascus pattern.The receiver retains traces of the original case colors.The engraving is sharp can well executed.The gun comes with a second set of Vickers 20ga. aftermarket nickel steel barrels that are properly fitted to the gun.The gun is factory lettered and comes with several pieces of correspondence from Parker.This is a very rare all original Parker from the Golden Age of American double guns.A great gun to collect and a great gun to use for upland birds or vintage clays shoots.C&R eligible.
