Barrel dated 9.43. What a sweetheart of a find this estate gun is. The barrel and frame are a soft original gray green Parkerizing with about 98+%. The bolt, barrel bands, safety assembly, trigger guard and floor plate assembly have retained about 95+% of the original factory blue. Just the slightest rub marks and some sharp edge silvering that account for the loss. Not even the bolt handle shows any use.
All parts are 100% correct for the gun.
The dark walnut stock is in super condition. Retaining just about 98-99% of the original lacquer. There are one or two minute hairline scratches that are hardly perceptible. However there are no dings, chips or splits anywhere. The left side of the stock has all the original Cartouches, "RA" for Remington, the Crossed Cannons Ordinance Wheel and the inspector's Boxed FJA. The pistol grip has the proper Circle P proof. The stock in front of the magazine plate is inspector stamped, Box D, Triangle L, Circle 24, and Oval 23.
The bolt face, guide rails and feed ramp have very minimal wear. The barrel of this factory ORIGINAL Armory Queen is pristine and stamped, R.A., Ordinance Bomb, 9.43. The 4 groove rifling is mirror bright and razor sharp, with no trace of frost.
It would be absolutely deadly on the range and a beautiful centerpiece in a collection...... $1495
