SOLD!--- But I have several more collector 95 TDS - not yet posted Here Is unquestionable one of the ‘Holy Grails’ of Winchester model 1895s and it has it all. The pictures tell the story. It is a TAKEDOWN. It is in the super desirable powerful 405 cal. The bore is virtually mint. It has H checkering proper for a deluxe model. It has a VERY high condition of original finish of metal and wood. It has the super scarce Lyman #41 receiver sight – a rack and pinion model superior to the often seen model #21. I have only seen the 41 on one other 95 in the past 50 years. The TD mechanism is tight and solid. The furniture fit is perfect. Has SG BUTT. Stock is quarter sawn for max strength against the fierce recoil of the 405. 4X wood on a .405 even if a H-checkered deluxe, is an invitation to disaster
