Description:
This is a very nice original example of a percussion Purdey with the plus of being in its original oak box with tools. Purdey records show the gun was completed in 1829. As var as we can see this shotgun is ready for the field.

Note the wonderful grip safety! I have used these on more modern guns and they work great as you hardly notice they are there. *** Note: To see this gun with high resolution photos and a zoom-in feature, go to the vintagedoubles main site and search for the gun ID: 3346 or browse the main site to see our full gun collection.
