Description:
This is an original 1956 Winchester 62A pump-action rifle. It can shoot .22 short, .22 long and .22 long rifle. The blued finish is in decent condition with some finish wear behind the rear sight. The wood furniture has seen minimal wear. The barrel of this rifle is 23” long with an elevation-adjustable rear sight. The bore is in condition and has retained its rifling. The breech opens on the top for easy ejection and cleaning and the pump action is short and smooth. There is finish wear on the bottom of the magazine tube, the action bars, and the edges of the receiver, but no corrosion or scratches. The magazine tube can hold 20 rounds of .22 Short, 16 rounds of .22 Long, and 14 rounds of .22 Long Rifle. The length of pull is 13-½” and the overall length is 39-½”. Our stock number is #A298.
