Description:
This is a Uberti Model 73 lever action rifle chambered for 44-40. This rifle has a 24-¼” blued octagonal barrel with a taper of 13/16” at the receiver to 11/16” at the muzzle. The finish on the barrel, magazine tube, and forend cap is in excellent condition with no dents or scratches. The bore is in similar condition. Mounted in dovetails are the fiber optic front sight and an elevation-adjustable rear sight. The receiver is color cased and also in great condition. The trigger, lever, and sliding ejection port cover are blued with no dings or scratches. The lever has some finish wear where it meets the receiver. The elevator is made of brass and undamaged. “Model 1873” is engraved on the top tang and a lever retainer is mounted to the bottom tang. The walnut buttstock with crescent buttplate and forend are in good condition. There are a couple small dings, but no disruption to the somewhat glossy finish. Length of pull is 12-¾”, overall length is 43-¼”, and weight is 7.6 lbs. Our stock number is #A301. Willing to ship anywhere in the US to your FFL, buyer pays freight and insurance.
