Description:
Model 1860 cavalry saber by Ames. In overall good condition with good markings of Ames of Chicopee and U.S. J.C.W. 1865. Leather hand grip shows wear and loss of finish. Brass wire wrap is gone. Blade has sheen mixed with age stains. Scabbard is sound but mostly aged brown.
