1894 OCTAGON RIFLE IN SCARCE .32-40 CALIBER, MADE 1903, this is the most difficult caliber to find in the Model 1894, this rifle retains exc. deep barrel and mag blue with barely some edge wear, buckhorn rear sight with small correct blade front sight, receiver shows fine thinning blue with nearly full coverage on the left side (with some thinning), right side shows fine blue with more thinning in the front half, exc. blue on the bolt, normal edge wear, exc. wood with only very light handling marks and tight wood to metal fit, exc. screws, exc. bore, tight action, very difficult to fine .32-40 octagon rifles especially in this fine overall condition
