CONDITION: Excellent, near new
Barrels feature matted, ventilated rib have Browning Morgan Utah and Montreal addresses. Coin finished rounded “Superlight” action is engraved in usual “Pigeon” style, with pairs of pigeons flying through light scroll background on sides, with rose bouquets on bottom. Top of action is relief carved with well cut oak leaves and acorns. Trigger guard is scroll engraved. Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom -.724. Bore restrictions: top -.020 (mod), bottom -.012 (IC). Coin finish is excellent. Gold of trigger has some rubs on sides. Mechanically crisp.
Interesting flame/ stump figured claro walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over Browning open sided white line pad, and features point pattern checkering with line borders at grip. “Superlight” forend with schnabeled tip matches well. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-9/16″. , LOP 14-3/8″. Only a few light handling marks on wood and metal. Checkering is slightly darkened. Case is excellent with some ink marks and a few light scuffs. Interior is very lightly soiled from contact with bbls. Tan vinyl Browning case is lined in faux fur and contains instruction booklet.
