Date Code 865 = August of 1965 this is an East German Gun...the color case hardened multi-color flowing action and forearm hardware are engraved with scroll work over the case hardened color. All screwheads are engraved. The extra fancy, nicely figured, oil finish European walnut has fineline checkering on the pistol grip and forearm and an exceptionally well done cheekpiece. A white line accents the grip cap and buttplate.
