Description:
This is an original Remington No. 4 takedown rifle chambered in 22 S/L/LR. This rifle has a 22” blued barrel with a taper of 13/16” at the receiver to ?” at the muzzle. The blued finish is in good condition. There is some light pitting towards the muzzle, but the finish is uniform and undamaged otherwise. The bore is in good condition, having a little roughness but the majority of the rifling is still sharp. The front sight is a fixed post and the rear sight has elevation adjustments. The receiver is in decent shape. There is no pitting or scratches, but there is finish wear around the screws. The hammer and breechblock are in similar condition. The walnut forend and buttstock have scattered scratches and dents throughout, but very few disrupt the finish. The steel buttplate is stamped with the Remington UMC trademark. Length of pull is 13-¼”, overall length is 37”, and weight is 4.6 lbs. Our stock number is #A305. Willing to ship anywhere in the US to your FFL, buyer pays freight and insurance.
