Description:
These were made from 1857-1858. Total produced estimated from 4500-5000. It is a .31 caliber, five shot, with a 3" octagon barrel. This one comes with the very early and rare brass trigger guard. All numbers match including the barrel, frame, trigger guard, and grips. Couldn't get the right angle for for the trigger guard picture. Number on the grips is thin, but there. Action works perfectly. Markings are clear, correct, and original. Traces of original finish remains. Case is in nice condition. It comes with a key and does work. Notice the locking mechanism is broken and the front escutcheon over the key hole is missing. Along with the case you will receive a powder flask, bullet mold, and a tin of caps.
