Description:
This is a L.C. Smith No.00 grade 12 gauge shotgun built in 1912. The 30” Hunter Arms Co. barrels are in fair condition. The reblued finish has some wear on the right barrel. There are also a few dents and dings on the right barrel. The bores are decent but there is some roughness. Both chokes are full. The color cased receiver is in good condition. There are a few tiny dents on the top and some light scattered pitting, but otherwise no blemishes. The blued double triggers, locking lever, and safety have very light finish wear. The walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock are in similar condition. There are scattered scratches and wear marks throughout, but few disrupt the somewhat glossy finish. There is checkering at the wrist and forend and a Browning buttplate has been installed. Length of pull is 14" and overall length is 46-1/4". The barrels have been reblued, the receiver recolor cased, the checkering refreshed, and the wood refinished. Overall wood to metal fit is good. Our stock number is #A315.
