The 5 & 1/2" octogon barrel is rifled and shows two engraved bands near the hammer which is typically an indication of high quality craftsmanship. The butt cap, trigger guard and other parts and decorations are made of silver. The grip is nicely both carved and checkered. There is a lot of engraving on lots of parts. A lot of finish remains on the hammer, lock and barrel. There is a full length walnut stock. The hammer only goes to what is normally the half cock position and fires from there when the trigger is pulled. It may well have been made that way. There is a sealed closed stable crack across the top part of the grip. ( see pictures) The price has been adjusted. It is a very handsome pistol. This is an antique so no FFL is required.
