Description:
Very nice representation of a Colt 1851 Civil War Navy Revolver. ALL numbers match. Bore is nice and will rate an easy six on a one to ten scale. Action is smooth and very tight. Lock-up is tight as well. Barrel to frame fit is exactly as it should be. Markings are clear, correct, and original. Grips fit perfectly and are in excellent condition. Original blue remains as well as some nice case color. A high portion of the cylinder scene is easy to see. JWP is scratched on the butt plate. Have no idea. You will find several inspector initials on the pistol. These Colt Model 1851 Navies saw heavy use in the Civil War. This one probably saw action as well.
