The barrels are choked light-full in both, .032 in right and .033 in left, and chambered 2 3/4 inch. The shotgun sports double triggers, ejectors and cocking indicators. Stocks: Round knob, checkered, pistol grip walnut butt-stock and checkered, splinter forend with push button release. Wood condition: There are cracks in the wrist of the pistol grip, starting from the junction of the upper tang and continuing down each side and into the checkering. It appears an amatuer tried his hand at a glue repair. Possibly a really good stock man can do a far better job. For additional photos of the cracks, see the shotgun on Cabela's Gun Library . All total there are 15 photos in the Cabela's ad. Metal Condition: The outsde of the barrels were once pitted, and appear to have been resurfaced and polished to remove the pitting. If one was to mount the shogun to his shoulder and looking down the barrels and point them at a bright light, one will see shallow dimples throughout the full-length of the barrels. What barrel blue is remaining from the reblue is faded considerably. Also, there is light surface corrosion all around the receiver, no doubt happened at the same time as the barrel pitting. Mechanically the shotgun is fairly sound. The lock up of barrels and receiver is tight, however the release lever is a bit to the left, and the forend locks up tight with a tight hold from the push button release.
