My interest is older SXSs, not pistols.. This Python has been in my safe for 25 years and not fired until recently. Knowledgable friends describe it as 98%. 6-Inch barrel. Original rubber and walnut grips. The photographs were taken to emphasize the defects. See photos with arrows. 1) The mark above the flute on the right view is barely perceptible with the naked eye but is seen well on the photograph. 2) The view of the left side of the cylinder shows three marks below the flute. 3) A minimal cylinder ring is present. 4) There are three small chips in the varnish on the bottom of the walnut grips. There is no box or papers. Payment by money order preferred. Will accept personal check but gun will not be sent until check has cleared. Three-day inspection, gun cannot be fired.
