A real lovely attic find from an older gentleman.
The original finish remaining is about 85%. Most of the loss seems to be just age toning of the metal and silvering of the bolt top and guide rails.
There is no rust or pitting anywhere. The gun retained the early push button safety, narrow barrel band and the rare high wood "I" cut stock.
The safety is the original push button type, as is the 2 rivet handguard and the original narrow barrel band.
The stock condition is outstanding. There are no dings, scratches, splits or chip missing anywhere.
The bolt face and feed ramp show little use. The bore is outstanding, mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Not hint of frost anywhere. A WWII treasure that has not been refurbished. It should be a real blast on the range.
It comes with one correct "IO" stamped 15 round magazine....$1395.
