Description:
This is a lightly used Hy Hunter Frontier Derringer in Caliber 22 LR. The Derringer operates just like the original Remington over and under Derringer. There is a side lever that unlocks the barrels and allows the barrels to tip up for loading and unloading. The action is a single action gun with a cam action hammer. Every time the gun is cocked the hammer alternates between the top and bottom barrels. This little gun is a West German manufacture and was made for and imported by Hy Hunter and his company American Weapons back in the 1950's. The bores are bright with strong lands and grooves. There is some light fading to the outside finish and the left grip has a certain amount of staining from sitting in the original box and paper. The gun comes with the original box.
