SALE PENDING. Finished on June 11, 1948, this is an unmolested classic British sporter in mint condition. It was never drilled for scope mounts. Wood is perfect. Metal is perfect. This classic caliber, .275 Holland & Holland Magnum, is practical on the open plains and bushveld, but is rarely seen. The trim profile of this rifle makes it a joy to point and carry. 24 1/4” barrel. Straight, modestly-grained walnut in the classic British style with cheek piece and rounded grip. Oil finish. 13 5/8" LOP over a solid rubber butt pad. Block island sight with 1 standing & 2 folding rear sights, banded front sight, barrel band sling eye 7 lbs. 9 oz. $5,950 plus S, H & I. A classic and practical British working gun.
