Description:
This is an M1 Carbine built by IBM Corp chambered for 30 Carbine. The 18” IBM barrel is in good condition with no corrosion and a clean bore. Mounted to the barrel is the fixed front sight and type 3 barrel band with bayonet lug, also in good condition. The receiver is also undamaged aside from some finish wear where the charging handle slides along the receiver and some scratches on the trigger guard. The bolt is undamaged and has finish wear on the top. The receiver is stamped “U.S. CARBINE / CAL.30 M1” in front of the action and “IBM CORP / 3xxxxx2” behind the IRCO rear sight. The tang and the magazine release are stamped “M”. The type 1 walnut stock is in great condition with very few blemishes. Two cartouches are still visible on the right side of the buttstock and the circled “P” is still visible on the grip. Buttplate is original, sling is not. Length of pull is 13”, overall length is 36”, weight is 5.4 lbs. Magazine included. Our stock number is #A326. Willing to ship anywhere in the US to your FFL, buyer pays freight and insurance.
