FINE FLINTLOCK BRASS BBL.TRADE PISTOL 17-20
Fine Flintlock Brass Bbl.Trade Pistol, c. 1770’s 8” Round, .70 cal. Brass Barrel, Trigger guard, ramrod pipes. w/ (2) proofs with some engraving on barrel. Metal is very clean with almost no corrosion. Wood very good with a few small dents, dings, hairline cracks, etc., Lock is plain, Finial on trigger guard; gun is 14” overall length. In good working order, locks up on full and half cock. A very nice Brass Barrel example probably made for trade, but that could have seen service during the American Revolutionary War period.
