Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This a very nice copy of the French enlisted man's pistol, which saw considerable use during our Revolutionary War. In fact this gun is more similar to the first U.S. contract handgun the Model of 1799, which was patterned after the French gun; as it has the slightly longer barrel of the American version. It is a .69 caliber smoothbore and the barrel is 8 1/2 inches in length. The grips are beautiful simulated ivory, and the gun is in perfect working condition. It is completely unmarked but of excellent quality. A great historical shooter and/or display piece, this flintlock pistol is likely a one-off creation and you will not find another offered for sale. SOLD Model: Charleville Model 1777 / U.S. Model 1799 Caliber Info: .69 |
