BRILLIANT COLOR CASE HARDENED WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 SPECIAL ORDER .45-90 W.C.F. CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1895 WITH FACTORY LETTER. 26” round barrel and full length magazine tube. British proofs at the left breech. Special order shotgun butt with steel butt plate and factory sling swivel eyelets. Outstanding condition with 95% of the original blue on the barrel and magazine tube. Hammer, frame and loading lever with nearly all the bright original case colors. Untouched and original bright blue and case colors (not redone or touched up in any way). Walnut stock and forend with all the original finish. Very desirable .45-90 caliber and with a mint bore. With original factory letter stating it was shipped in October 1895 as a round barrel chambered for the .45-90 W.C.F. cartridge. Really bright case colors and great cartridge.
