J. Rigby & Co. rifle with 1988 London Proofs, built on what appears to be an original Pre-War Rigby Single Square Bridge Magnum action that was rebarreled and re-stocked in the late 1980’s. The front ring of the action is engraved “Rigby’s Special .416 Bore for Big Game” with a flag safety. Stock has a right hand cheekpiece, a single case colored recoil bar and rubber pad. The trap grip cap has the opposing “R” logo in gold, serial number and calibre are marked in gold on trigger bow and floor plate. Rifle is in excellent overall condition.
