ANOTHER WONDERFUL, DISCONTINUED SHILOH SHARPS RARITY! 1863 GEMMER STYLE .54 CALIBER PERCUSSION OCTAGON RIFLE! This is a spectacular looking rifle made in the late Farmingdale, New York days before moving to their current Montana factory. Not only is the Gemmer Rifle no longer offered, all percussion models have been discontinued- which is a real shame as they are incredibly accurate if loaded correctly and just plain fun to shoot! This rifle has truly magnificent extra fancy reddish/brown burl stock and forend, classic Hawken style cheek piece, 34" oct. barrel with wood wiping rod held by two thimbles connected to a full rib under the barrel, forend is double keyed with steel nose cap, double set triggers, fire blued screws, special browned full crescent butt plate with toe plate as well as browned barrel and furniture, case colored receiver, long fancy Hawken style buckhorn rear sight with blade front sight, weighs approx. 11 lbs., AND ALL IN UNFIRED, NEW CONDITION! All Gemmer Rifles are rare as can be, but the 1863 Percussion Gemmer is almost impossible to find!
