Description:
Remington. Model 1 1/2 Rolling block sporting rifle. Cal 25 Stevens long. 28" octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel retains90% original blue finish with lose on high edges. Frame retains 85-90% of its vivid case hardened colors with some light specks of surface oxidation. The block hammer and trigger retain 90% original blue. The smooth walnut straight grip buttstock and forend with Schnabel forend tip and ebony insert rate excellent showing some light dings and scratches. Rifle is fitted with a silver blade front sight and a sporting rear sight. This is a lovely all original Remington rolling block. Serial # 4226.
