Frank Wesson. Model Two trigger. 4th Type AKA Mid range No 2.
Manufactured 1872 to 1888. Cal .44 Wesson Extra long. 22" Octagon barrel
with adjustable globe front sight rear tang sight. Very good bore with strong
lands and grooves. Barrel retains approximately 80 % blue finish. Barrel
legends are sharp. 70% nickel plating on frame with traces on trigger guard.
Fine walnut buttstock with no cracks. Rifle buttplate retains 85% original
nickel finish. Perfect operating order. Overall a very fine Wesson single shot
target rifle. Serial # 4884.
