I listed this rifle as a Palma rifle. I have since been informed that it is a 40XC. I can't change the the title but will contact GI after the Holiday and see what they recommend. It is a Remington 40XC position rifle.
This rifle is a Remington 40XC Position rifle with 24 inch barrel in 7.62 Nato with a 16 power Leopold scope. It has an enclosed magazine, Leopold rings and a bridge mount. There is an aluminum channel on the bottom of the stock but there are no accessories included for that.
There are some finish markings in the pistol grip area. It is mostly in the stock finish but the are a few dings there also. It is obvious that something was spilled in this area and allowed to dry marking the finish.
I believe most Palma rifles are metalic sights but this one has a 16 power Leopold mounted on it. The muzzel end of the barrel is drilled and tapped for front aputure type sights.
