Description:
Commercial Oberndorf Mauser Sporting Action, standard length round top, manufactured in 1914 with pear shaped bolt knob, single trigger, lever release floorplate, and flag safety. Drilled and tapped on right rear ring for Lyman 48 reciever peep sight but never drilled and tapped on top. Standard 30-06 bolt face. All number matching including the small parts with bolt carrying the middle three numbers of the five digit serial number and I think correct for the action. This action has been hot blued but does not appear to have been polished. Great basis for a special custom project.
