NAZI PRODUCTION OF THE 1914 BEGAN IN 1941. BETWEEN 1941-42, APPROXIM ATLY 7,000 PISTOLS WERE MFG. SERIAL RANGE, AND ONLY 920 WERE MFG. WITH THE NAZI EAGLE(SERIAL NUMBERS RANGE 29,615-30,534).
there ARE NOT MANY OF THESE PISTOLS SURVIVED, THEREFORE 1945 NAZI PROOFED MODEL 1914 ARE VERY DESIRABLE FOR COLT1911 COLLECTORS.
THIS ONE SERIAL NUMBER 29852 IS 95% OF THE ORIGINAL CONDITION. IT HAS MANY SMALL PARTS INCLUDING BARREL ARE NUMBERED TO THE GUN.
