Description:
This was Colt’s first small frame double action target revolver and only about 5000 of them were made. They were introduced in 1897 and produced through 1906. The standard caliber for this model was the .32 Colt long & short cartridge however Colt did produce a few that were chambered in the .32 New Police (.32 S&W) cartridge and this is one of them. It has the flat top frame, 6” target barrel and adjustable rear sight. The guns show some wear but remains in perfect mechanically condition. It locks up tight and the bore is fine. The original checkered hard rubber grips are free from chips and cracks and remain in new condition. The trigger, hammer, rear sight, grip screw and front sight pin all retain there fire blue finish. This is an above average New Police Target and would make an excellent addition to any collection. These do not surface very ofter and almost never in the S&W cartridge. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly with the gun in a zipper sleeve and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
