CLASSIC ANTIQUE SERIAL NUMBER SINGLE ACTION ARMY, IN .45 COLT CALIBER, 5 1/2" BARREL, #165XXX, MADE 1896, a true cowboy revolver that came out of Arizona, overall metal is gray with some evidence of rust pitting mainly on the frame on the left side ahead of the cylinder and scattered on the barrel- not real deep, but there and never buffed out or heavily scrubbed, fine single line barrel address, patent dates on the frame and ".45 COLT" marking on the side of the barrel is weak but mostly readable, matching serial numbers, fine+ screws, original front sight has not been filed, tight action, bore dark with good rifling, exc. grips fit perfectly, lots of Old West history and hard to find with antique serial numbers!
