Description:
This is a 1936 Winchester Model 70 restocked and rebarreled for .257 Ackley Improved Roberts. The 23” blued barrel is in decent condition with some light scratches and finish wear. The bore has sharp rifling in good condition. The blued receiver is also in decent condition having some scratches and finish wear. The bolt has lost all of its blued finish on the bolt handle, but otherwise is in good condition. Mounted to the receiver is a Weaver K8 scope in Redfield rings. The tube is in decent condition but the glass is pretty scratched. The trigger guard and floorplate have finish wear but no corrosion. The walnut stock is in good condition with only a few scratches that disturb the finish. The stock has a pistol style grip, a schnabel, and a raised cheek rest. Stock has sling swivels and 1” rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 15”, overall length is 45”, and weight is 9.6 lbs. Our stock number is #A346.
