Ruger discontinued the Model 96, chambered for the .44 Magnum, in 2007 and since then they have appreciated in value. This example is in excellent condition and it certainly has not been fired much or hunted with. It has a Nikon Prostaff 2x7 scope with a mildot retical mounted with the original Ruger rings and intregral base.
