This Remington Rolling Block rifle is in excellent condition and is in .43 Spanish Remington caliber. It has the correct "R" marking on the rear of the stock near the top of the buttplate and on the left side of the barrel near the receiver. It has the correct and unique rear sight that is only found on the Argentine models. The barrel bore on this rifle is MINT! This rifle has the octagonal section of the barrel, between the rear sight and receiver which is unique to the Argentine Model 1879. An excellent rifle for both the collector and the shooter.
