The Owner of a Savage Model-99 Take-Down Lever-Action Rifle can Double the Use & Significantly Increase the Value of His/Her Rifle with this somewhat Rare Savage Auxiliary .410 gauge Barrel. Useing the .410 Barrel requires Single-Shot operation of the firearm. As the M99's internal rotary magazine would/will not handle the bulky .410 shell. Once the .410 Barrel was screwed into the frame, the Rifles original forearm is held in place with the sliding/adjustable barrel screw-bolt. The screw-bolt applied clamping pressure to the forearm tip. Forearms varied, thus small slits were made into the barrel to custom fit. This Barrel has the Savage Markings. These barrels were offered in 22" - 24" & 26" lengths and Are almost Impossible to find! This Barrel is the Featherweight 22" version. The Barrel is in Excellent Condition- Inside & Out, Except for some tooling marks near the threaded end. The Threads are Uneffected and in V-Good+ Condition. Any Savage Model-99 with the .410 gauge shotgun barrel attached is an ideal Single Shot arm for vermin birds and other small game. Barrel & Literature/Info.
