Description:
The Browning MEDALIST is not only a fine Target pistol with a nice trigger pull, but it is also one of the best crafted and most handsome .22 caliber pistols ever made. It has a high polished blue finish on all of the metal work, except the trigger which is GOLD plated and the barrel rib which has a dull blue finish to reduce glare on the line of sight. The rear sight is adjustable and the pistol has a built in "dry fire" mechanism. The nicely grained walnut grips are checkered with a target thumb rest on the left side. The forepiece, unusual for a pistol, is of matching walnut with a schnabel end. It is easily removed to permit the insertion of one of the weights (shown in the picture of the fitted case) to adjust the pistols balance to the shooters preference. These weapons were made from 1962 to 1974. This one could be unfired. The set includes the fitted case. case key, 4 weights, the screwdriver like factory tool and a photo-copy of the factory manual/pamphlet.
All transfers must go through an FFL holder. This is a collectable grade weapon.
