Legendary Arms Works' M704 Professional Centerfire Rifles feature lightweight handcrafted Legendary Arms Works stocks that make carrying them over the most difficult terrain a breeze, and when the moment of truth arrives, you can count on the M704 to deliver flawless performance. LAW Controlled Round Feed actions CNC-machined from chromoly steel ensure proper bedding so cartridges cycle smoothly, even in harsh conditions. Bolt and handle are machined from solid bar stock. Stainless steel fluted barrels have a target recessed crown to protect the rifling, while black Cerakote™ finish protects the barrels from weather-related damage. Threaded muzzles include fitted thread protectors. Legendary Arms Works hand-laid fiberglass stocks with aluminum bedding blocks mechanically and chemically lock the bedding to the stock for exceptional accuracy. Precision-ground, laser-cut 0.250" heavy-duty recoil lug maximizes strength and reliability. Three-position M7-style swing safety. Firing control system removes without tools, making in-the-field cleaning a breeze. Simple-to-adjust Timney triggers come factory preset at 3 lbs. Precision-machined aluminum trigger guard and one-piece straddle floor plate with an inside-the-bow release lever. Bolt release is easy to access, even with gloves on. Drilled and tapped for scope mounts, plus steel bases are included for installing Weaver or Picatinny rails. 1" Pachmayr® Decelerator recoil pad.
