Description:
Pre war drilling by J.J.Reeb of Bonn.Built in 1924,this gun has 16 gauge double barrels over a 9.3 x 72R rifle.The Bohler steel barrels are 263/4" longThe shotgun barrels are choked improved modified and full with 25/8" chambers.The rifle barrel has an excellent bore with sharp clean rifling.The barrels are on face and lock up tightly to the action with no play.All bores are free of rust or pitting and are nitro proofed.The rounded action is fully game scene engraved with detailed scenes of deer and stag surrounded by floral and oak leaf engraving.The action is scalloped and the stock is propely fitted to the action.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage and retains the original horn buttplate.Other features include cocking indicators,sling swivels,and a pop up rifle sight.This is a classic example of pre war German craftsmanship at a reasonable price.C&R eliglble.
