#103-01, Arrieta - Elgoibar, Spain: A 28 Bore Bar Action Sidelock Ejector Model 578 Made 2001 with 29" Ejector Chopper Lump barrels at .545 .003 & .008 (Skt.I & Skt.II), Original 2 3/4" chambers, Bushed strikers, Double triggers with the front articulated, Splinter forend, Straight hand stock at 14 13/16 x 1 1/2 x 1 15/16" over a checkered butt, Cast-off for the right hand, 5 lbs. 15 oz., Very nice wood with nice color & contrast, 90% coverage of very fine floral & scroll engraving, The barrels retain 97% original blue, The original case colors are at 95%, The wood remains at 96%, The checkering still at 99%, The bores are as new, It remains tight to the face with a lot of bite left for extended shooting. The piece is cased in a very nice leather cornered leather trunk with a canvas over sleeve.
