.52 Caliber rimfire breechloader fitted with 24” leather wrapped barrel. Records show the Navy purchased 6,686 units. Frame stamp left side SHARPS/PATENT/1859. Walnut stock with brass buttplate. 2nd Model with floating type firing pin on recoil shield. Barrel bore is shiny and the rifling is sharp. There is just a touch of light pitting in limited areas. Leather wrap is intact with some damage a the rear of the cover (refer to photos). Please contact us with any questions regarding this collectible arm.
