Description:
Serial #CCCP37880, 7.62 x 39mm, 20” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1954 dated, CDI import that was arsenal reconditioned to excellent condition with all matching numbers, including the hinged magazine cover and stock. The metal has virtually all of the armory blue finish remaining with excellent bright metal on the bolt, bolt carrier, and folding bayonet. The stock has some flaking of the varnish on either side, mostly flanking the rear portion of the receiver, however the wood is in fine shape, and actually exhibits very few handling marks or blemishes. The carbine is also equipped with a correct canvas and leather sling, and original cleaning tools are present in the stock compartment. This is a splendid example of a well made, Russian SKS, and would make a great example for a collection. FFL or C&R
