Some few years ago A friend of mine passed away. He was known for his affection of the unusual. He spent a lot of his later years in Africa shooting with one of his custom rifles as well as his camera. His widow came by recently after finding out another one of these projects hidden away. It is a mid-1990s Winchester model 70 short actionthat has an unmarked 7 mm 08 Remington barrel. It is 22 inches in length with the one in twelve inch pitch. The synthetic stock is black with a black Winchester pad. The grip cap is black and is unmarked. He spared no expense when he added a single set canjar trigger. If this little rifel is anything like his others, it is a member of the one hole club. Complete with leupold bases.
