LATE WWII NAZI German fnh CZ vz. 27 Pistol .32 ACP
Phosphate Finished, Nazi Occupied Czechoslovakia
Here we present a Nazi German CZ 27 Pistol, made circa 1944 in Czechoslovakia. The vzor 27 was adopted by the Third Reich upon their seizure of ?eská zbrojovka in 1939. Many of these single action .32 ACP blowback pistols were manufactured until the end of the war, becoming somewhat rougher toward the end in an attempt to save on cost, time and resources. The machining marks grew more visible and the blue applied to the earlier guns was changed to a phosphate finish. Many of these were put in the hands of officers and police during World War II.
This specimen is marked “fnh/Pistole Modell 27/Kal.7,65” on the left side of the slide. The checkered Bakelite grips have the CZ logo. The bottom of the magazine is marked “P.Mod 27”. The slide and barrel are marked with an eagle. The frame is marked “Eagle/WaA76”.
The overall condition is fine. The original phosphate finish is very well preserved. The markings are clear and legible. The serial numbers match. The magazine is unnumbered. The grip is in very good condition aside from the chip off the right corner. The bore is fine and the action is excellent.
This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.
Barrel is 3-7/8 inches in length.
