Description:
SOLD Factory letter states COLT POLICE POSITIVE REVOLVER. ".32 on a .38 Frame". Caliber .32/c, barrel length 4", finish blue, checkered wood; Factory engraved "Dept of Correction" is engraved on the backstrap. It was shipped to D.J. Singleton address unavailable. Shipped may 16, 1928. Bore in the 4" barrel is bright and shiny, with no pitting. It will rate an eight on a one to ten scale. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. All markings are clear, correct, and original. Grips are nice with no cracks or chips. Numbers match. The original blue finish will rate in the 90's. Looks like some blue has been added at the muzzle. American Arms & Antiques item #1687.
