Description:
This H&R 2nd Model 929 was called the "Sidekick" and was discontinued in 1986. It represents one of H&R's better quality revolvers and features a 9-shot swing-out cylinder, and a transfer bar firing system so it was safe to carry with the cylinder fully loaded. This example looks as if it has spent it's whole life in someone's sock drawer, never carried or fired. This Model 929 is in nearly mint condition. It shows no carry wear or signs of having been fired. The original factory blue finish would rate 98% plus. There is a tiny bit of oxidation on the exposed hammer pin on the right side only, and the faintest of drag lines on the cylinder. There is no carbon in the action, on the forcing cone, in the barrel, or on the face of the cylinder. The bore is flawless and bright with no signs of wear. The original checkered black plastic grips are also in excellent condition with no cracks,wear, or damage of any kind. This classic revolver works 100% like new. It will make a great addition to any collection and a great pistol to carry into the field.
