Payment Types Accepted: checks, cashiers/bank check, money order Description: ONE OF THE BEST 1901 LEVER SHOTGUNS I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME, 10 GA., MADE 1915, these are much more scarce than the earlier black powder Model 1887 (64,855 manufactured), the Model 1901 was only made in 10 ga. and was made from 1901-1920 with only 13,500 being made, this one retains excellent blue on the receiver with only light edge wear and a few very minor dings that are hardly worth mentioning, even the upper tang retains most of the blue, exc. deep barrel and mag blue with the only wear being at the balance point just ahead of the receiver where some of the blue is mixing brown from handling only, exc. screws, exc. butt stock with original checkered steel butt plate and tight wood to metal fit, exc. forearm with the following lightly scratched in three lines into the right side just ahead of the receiver: "R A HIET" over "DELAVAN" over "WIS"  this is obviously a previous owners info and would be easy to rub out or just left as part of the shotgun's history- either way it is fairly minor, bright exc. bore, 32" full choke barrel, 102 year old  super condition Model 1901!
