Pre war 16ga. double by Herman Eichorn and Son of Rostov,Germany.This beautiful little double has 30" barrels choked modified (.022") and full (.036").It has a pistol grip stock with a European style cheekpiece and a horn buttplate.The bores are bright and free of any rust,dents,or pits.The chemebers are 2 9/16".The receiver is fully game scene engraved with detailed scenes.Other quality features include intercepting sears,a Greener crossbolt lockup,double Purdey style underbites,The barrels lock up tight with no play and are on face.The gun comes with a full lenght pair of Briley 28ga.insert tubes to convert the gun to 28ga.if you choose to.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage,just minor handling marks.This is a vey high quality gun that would make a great all around upland bird gun.C&R eligible.
